Kid Safe Pool Nets were the first safety nets in the US to be Nationally Listed to conform to ASTM F1346-91, the national Standard Performance Specifications for Safety Covers.

The National Listing with Applied Research Laboratories (ARL), a full service national and international accredited testing agency that provides testing for compliance to standards for safety, required that Kid Safe submit our product to ARL for independent testing against the ASTM code.

The Kid Safe Pool Net passed all the tests. In order to achieve the National Listing, Kid Safe then had to submit our manufacturing facility to an initial inspection by ARL to ensure appropriate work conditions, safety procedures and quality control programs were in place to ensure continued production of this product EXACTLY as the sample tested.

Further, to maintain the listing, Kid Safe is subject to 4 random and unannounced inspections every year to ensure the product we produce continues to be the EXACTLY the same as was tested.

This stringent testing and inspection process, by a company licensed to perform this function in every State and by the Federal Government as well as by many foreign countries, gives complete assurance to the consumer and various state and county inspectors that a Kid Safe Pool Net conforms to, and will continue to conform to ASTM 1346-91.
